From Cannabis Lounges to Digital Domains: LIVE from ETH Denver 2025

IHeartDomains LLC

Step into the future of blockchain as we explore innovative concepts discussed at ETH Denver, where exciting trends like D-PIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) and AI agents are taking center stage. D-PIN is reshaping how we view traditional infrastructures and proposes an ecosystem where individuals can contribute physical resources, creating decentralized networks that reward and empower participants. This revolutionary approach is anticipated to redefine how we utilize technologies in our daily lives.

On the other hand, the advent of AI agents is escalating the debate over automation's role in business. Are they here to enhance human roles or replace them? We delve into how these agents can optimize customer service and automate essential operations, freeing up valuable time and resources for businesses. The discussions at ETH Denver emphasized the critical nature of automation and how businesses can leverage these tools for greater productivity and customer satisfaction.

Furthermore, we discuss the emerging need for Proof of Humanity, a mechanism that utilizes biometrics for verification, ensuring a balance between privacy and identity validation. In a world where maintaining anonymity can be vital, this technology comes as a promising advancement for the crypto community.

As digital identity gains more importance in the blockchain realm, each user and application will necessitate clear naming conventions. The episode emphasizes that as digital identities and infrastructures converge, names will be foundational for future interactions.

Join us as we uncover these exciting developments and underscore the message that the future of technology is not one of replacement but rather one of enhancement. Subscribe for insightful discussions on how to navigate this evolving landscape, and let’s build the future together!

Speaker 2:

Thank you, hello, hello and good morning. Going to get started here in just a second Posted one of the things we're going to talk about at the top of the space. I might actually post something else, but yeah, hopefully you guys can hear me that I'm clearing. Uh, getting to this tech talk in just a second literally only take just a second, all right, and we are back.

Speaker 2:

Thank you guys for being here, as always. Welcome to another Tech Talk podcast. We do these every week here, live on X, and we highlight news, innovations, education, alpha and business development here in the Web3 technology and digital identity space identity space. I am your host, marcus, aka Winning or Dropping. Founder of iHeart Domains. We've been proud to be your number one resource for unbiased Web3 and blockchain domain educational content, with over 100 TikTok episodes and YouTube videos produced and archived over the past two years. If you want to look through our entire podcast archive for any prior recordings or an easy-to-read overview of anything that we've discussed, you can do so at iHeartCommandscom. Also, all prior recordings are available in podcast form. As this live recording will also be converted to a podcast and it is going to be live on every major podcast player, including Apple Podcasts, spotify, iheartradio and more, and you can see that archive at techtalkhost. Yeah, as always, ask if you could like retweet the spaces. If you have anything that you want to add to the conversation, feel free to hop up on stage or request a speaker role. But yeah, this one's designed to be pretty quick. As you can see in the title. I am here in Denver live. It is an hour earlier for me than it usually is, so it is 530 in the morning definitely very early, but wouldn't want to do it doing or wouldn't spend it doing anything but talking about what I'm bullish on, as is typical. Just have some super quick opening news I want to open up with before I get into the main discussion. The first piece of opening news is what's pinned up at the top. If you have not heard already, 3d just launched their partnership with Chili's, which is a sports-based blockchain. You can feel free to follow that announcement or follow Chili's directly. They have almost a half a million followers, so a pretty big platform.

Speaker 2:

A couple of things that I'm excited about in this partnership, and so the TLD that they've partnered with is the CHC TLD, so anyone who's bullish on the or connected to the Chili's community or just wants a cool domain name can go to freenameio right now and commit your favorite CHC. I know we have the standard freename coupons out. I don't know if Chili's has any opening coupons or introductory coupons, but they do have some specials for their current community. I believe if you're one of their token holders, you may get your domain for free. It may even be free for a number of years, and that's one of the biggest parts of this partnership that I wanted to highlight is that this partnership with Chili's actually brought forth a new utility in the Freename ecosystem, and that is that Chili's and their CHC TLD is the first TLD to offer or to have the renewal feature enabled.

Speaker 2:

For those of you who are familiar with the free name ecosystem, you know one of the biggest selling points and will always be one of the biggest selling points is that if you become a customer or investor of free name, if you purchase a TLD, that TLD is yours, free and clear. There are never any other reason. You also you know kind of standard practice you have the ability to issue them also in the same fashion, which is forever, no renewals, et cetera. This is a big benefit, right? You know almost every other naming protocol in the ecosystem has renewals to some extent, and we know of one that does it, but, trust me, they get their money in other ways, and so it's been a big selling point, and that feature is something that we'll still always be proud of and will be one of the core features and benefits to any TLD holder here at Freename. However, the reason why I'm super bullish on this, though, and so, again, if you're a TLD owner on Freename, this option, once it becomes live it's beta right now with Chili's will be something that you'll be able to enable and disable on your TLDs. So if you still want to keep your TLDs or the SODs on your TLDs, you know, 100% owned, free and clear, with no renewals, you're able to do so.

Speaker 2:

But in the case of, you know, a large ecosystem, you know a very large ecosystem that, you know, daily is having contests, is, you know, is building, I know. You know, with their TLD, they plan on offering, you know, continuous rewards, et cetera. And I've expressed, and, you know, talked about other situations where other communities, you know, would really actually benefit from having renewals continuously providing utility. If that revenue stream is going back into the community and giving value to that name, aside from how they, you know, work in the traditional sense, then I think your community will love it. They'll respect the fact that the rentals are there and what they're going for. And then again, you know, having a cash flow incentivizes a company or a project to stay open, you know, to stay healthy. And, again, if you're broken, don't have funding, you can't really do anything for your holders. So excited to see what they do with this initial rollout of that feature and then, yeah, exciting to see what any of our TLD holders or our community chooses to do with the feature once it's live for the rest of us.

Speaker 2:

Last thing I'm going to touch on before I get into the main discussion is the same thing that I remind you guys of every space, and I hope that all of you TLD owners on Freename are doing the same, because I do want to remind you that the registry is open for dgen, exchain, .88888, which is 5-8, and defi wallet. If any of these names sound amazing to you, I invite you to go mint your grail today at Freenameio. These domains and these TLDs or SLDs are 100% ownership. So, yeah, if you meet one of these, you own your name forever. And, yeah, definitely want to invite you guys to open up to comment on those. Also, as I've mentioned before, I've typically blocked the ability for you to use any promo codes that aren't issued by us on these TLDs. Freename does typically offer a promo code depending on any partnerships or announcements that are going on, and, as TLD owners, we are able to opt out of those promos. All of these TLDs are opted in, so whether you're using one of our promo codes or one of the FreeName promo codes, they both should work for you. So, yeah, with, with that being said, you know pretty solid debate for as little as two dollars and fifty

Speaker 2:

cents. All right, now let's get into the main discussion. Obviously, the title of the space again, as I said before, is live from Denver. What is new for 2025? Today is actually my last full day here in Denver. Got here on Wednesday morning. Yeah, I thought this would be the perfect time and wanted to dedicate this tech talk to briefly discuss how bullish this year is and also dive into some of the meta that was pretty much on full display here at this year's conference. One of the first things I'm going to begin with is actually our very own side event that we hosted yesterday. It was actually an amazing and unforgettable vibe and it was a very, very it was a great hub for for for making connections. It was actually surprisingly more effective than that, than than I thought it would be. So, as I've led up to you know quite a few times, and as many of you know, if you're connected to the profile or to the

Speaker 2:

platform. Iheartdomains is a sponsor and a member of VerbsDAO. We do a monthly meetup here, local in San Antonio, texas, aimed at onboarding newbies and basically anybody who loves and is bullish on crypto. You know a place where we can connect monthly and talk about all that good stuff. It's also a vehicle that we use to onboard people into digital identity with our vrbstld. That was sponsored by Freename, so anyone who attends any of these IRL meetups can actually claim a free verbs domain name that they can use as their digital identity and align with the verbs

Speaker 2:

community. Um, as I mentioned, we co-sponsored uh one of the events out here side events out here at endeavor with our friends blood dow, which I'm also a member of, and they have been a sponsor of our meetups in san antonio by uh, you know, providing uh some of the flour that we use to socialize, and so we wanted to return the favor here at this event. It was called the Blood Olympics. It was their second Blood Olympics I believe. The first one that they did was out in Bangkok in Thailand, during the last crypto event out there. Here are really good things about

Speaker 2:

that. I obviously didn't get to attend, but this one definitely, I think, is one for the books, if there's anything to measure it up to Definitely, I think, is one for the books, if there's anything to measure it up to. So I want to start with some of the basics. We had a really good turnout Over 100 people, may have been 200 people, I mean. It was packed, and if any of you are familiar with Denver, so one of the things that Denver is well, a lot of people kind of look forward to when they come here is the fact that cannabis is legal, right, so a lot of people come here and hit dispensaries. The thing is, though, is that consumption legally, in the open, in public, is actually not legal, so I just can't smoke in public, even though most people still do

Speaker 2:

anyway. What they have here in Denver is, I mean, the one that I found is they have consumption lounges, so they have social places that you're able to pay a membership or an entry fee to. You're able to take the cannabis that you purchase at the dispensary into this social venue and then sit down and relax and smoke, and et cetera. So the venue that this particular side event was held at was at the Tetris Cannabis Lounge here in Denver. It's actually the second time I've been to this lounge, as a matter of fact, so I don't know how many lounges they are, but I guess this one must be the nicer one, because I've been here two times out of two different years here at East Denver. But there's an inside section. It's got everything you can think of, of course your bathroom, your couches, tables, they have all the accessories you can think of, etc. And then on the outside they have a bunch of sections covered tables, all that good stuff again, big old vibe, so definitely a dope

Speaker 2:

venue. Um, we had free vibes, obviously. Um, we provided, uh, and so there were several sponsors involved in this and, uh, the combination of those sponsors, um, uh, gave away quite a few things to the people who attended to create this vibe. So, complimentary flower, I mean, it was rolling around great top-shelf flowers for everybody you know was able to roll and socialize and talk. We also had snacks, also had, like, infused cannabis. It was again a lot of merch the gummies. There are a lot of different vendors there handing out different products, connecting, socializing people, and then at the end we rounded it out with a rolling

Speaker 2:

competition. Going back to what I was saying about being a hub for connections. There were a lot of builders and devs you know, obviously, if Denver attracts that crowd in the first place, but you a lot of, like I said, very prominent builders and devs that were here at this particular event and got a great chance to network with quite a few of them, and it actually connected with a few of them in the past. One of the big highlights as well and I do want to give a shout out is to Leon Gomez, who's actually one of our VIP members in the 3D community. He's one of the first people there and stayed almost to the end and weed the whole time and very much looked for uh, very much enjoyed uh connecting with him and talking about the future uh, you know, and you know future, both his business and the future of namespaces in general. Um, and, along with that, got to have some great conversations with some builders and devs from, uh, the swede blockchain, uh, from near, uh, from polka dot, uh, from, uh, basically everywhere, right, um, and got some good opportunities to explain the power and utility of custom

Speaker 2:

namespaces. Um, you know, again, making it make sense. Uh, for you know everyone that's out here and this is my true belief. Right, and I'll get into it as we get into some of the meta that was here. You know, kind of breaking down further why I think naming is going to be probably one of the. You know it already is a big industry, but I think it's going to be one of the big breakout. You know opportunities in the space and we're super early. It is the fact that so many projects are building, that personalization is key and that there is so much utility that's tied behind a name, behind a name, and so being able to connect with these different builders and devs and and figure out ways, um, you know, to get more integrations, not only on their chain, but to bring some of the people and partners and projects on their chain over to our ecosystem, was definitely a big value. So, uh, yeah, definitely enjoyed our um winter

Speaker 2:

olympics. Uh, with blunt dow for everybody attended. Um, definitely, big shout out to you. Hope you guys guys had a good time and the vibe that we intended you to, and then, yeah, looking forward to next year. Also, again, if you're local to Texas or San Antonio, we do our own mini meetup every single month. So, again, if you're looking for a great crypto cannabis community where we talk about all things bullish, blockchain, onboarding, digital identity, et cetera. I would love for you to come out to

Speaker 2:

those. All right, now let's get into some of the specific things. So, again, if you've never been to EVE, denver or any of these conferences, before you know there's going to be dozens or hundreds of side events. There's going to be dozens and hundreds of booths, and they're all going to be all over the place. You're going to see your staples, your normal ones, your traditional typical blockchains, your L2s, but in every single event, there's always some sort of theme, a little bit of meta, right, you'll see a grouping or, specifically, the crowd right around a certain thing, right, and this year was no different. I'm going to talk about AI, defi, kind of after I talk about this, but AI and DeFi and agents were definitely, you know, one of the big parts of the meta that were out here, as I anticipated it would

Speaker 2:

be. But another one that I actually hadn't dug into or really paid attention to until I got here is D-PIN. So if you don't know what D-PIN is and D-PIN is spelled D-E-P-I-N it's an acronym for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks. Yeah, what it is is it's basically a concept within blockchain and Web3. That takes traditional centralized physical products or infrastructure and then it allows it to be managed or tokenized on the blockchain, right? So, instead of having you know our traditional entities, you know control and obviously profit over things that we use every day like telecommunications, iot networks. You know, such as stuff like that, that D-Pen aims to distribute both the ownership and you know basically the validation data operational responsibilities around amongst you know basically anybody who's participating in the

Speaker 2:

network. Give you a perfect example of that from back in the day, which was Helium. Right, and Helium has evolved. I had a great conversation about Helium yesterday as well, and didn't know that they were still like rolling like this, right? I remember back when Helium first came out, people were mining it like crazy, making good money, and it was supposed to be an IoT network and internet technologies. I guess what it was going to do was like help expand or extend the internet Again, too technical for my level at the time but I heard when it started tanking, there were conversations about them partnering with Sprint and things like that in order to again provide data and connections to their

Speaker 2:

network. Well, yeah, that's essentially what Helium does, right? You purchase these physical hotspots and then you use them to basically add bandwidth or network power to an extent right and again the exact terminology, replace it with what makes sense to you. But basically what you're doing is you're taking your physical device and you're contributing to the network with its power, with its bandwidth, with its whatever, and then you're getting rewarded and incentivized by it. In the case of Mycelium, specifically, you're adding to the cellular data network and the way it was explained to me yesterday was you know, basically, when you're driving, when you're doing anything right, your cell phone, when it's looking for service, when it's trying to transfer some data, et cetera, it's pinging off of different towers that exist, of course, around the globe, that have been set up, you know, by these entities like Sprint, et cetera, or towers that they rent. You know by these entities like Spread, et cetera, or towers that they rent, the new kind of what's being ushered in, you know, in order to create a bigger and expanded and more reliable and faster network. And of course, an incentivized network is that you can kind of create your own mini towers or mini signals by setting up nodes right, and then you know if you're setting up a node like one, these Helium nodes in an area and someone passes by that area and then their data or their cell signal or whatever pings off of your node. You get paid that data or that transaction on some briefly before I go to the next, but in this one specifically, you know you're contributing to literally the infrastructure of communication, of cell phone communication, and getting incentivized for it, and it was. You know I've seen vendors since I've been out here, not only from the helium space, but also one was talking about, you know, home health, which, yeah, home health is a thing right. All kinds of different things in your home actually provide or give off data that can be used to either enhance a consumer experience, create a product to optimize the homeowner experience. It can be used to help people save bills and energy. Basically, that data has value. And another part of deep end is going to be eventually tokenizing your home and the processes within it, tokenizing your car and the processes within it. Another example I was given and so and I'm saying I was given because I haven't tested out any of these yet, but I do 100% plan to One of the, I guess you would say the best points about dPen is that most of this is just processes that you already do, things that you already own, things that you already

Speaker 2:

use. You're just, you know, adding maybe a device or changing the device that you're using to do these things, so that it's now you know how you interact with this thing is being broadcasted to the network and you're being incentivized from it. Think like sweat, like that's what sweat was right. Tracking and monitoring you know, know your physical activities as you work out, um, and then that data means something to someone else who may be looking, um, you know, for their own body type, etc. You get my point. Um, so, like I said, even monetizing your car the example I was given was like cameras on the front as you drive around the streets, as you're going from two to fro. Um, you know, there's d-pin devices, devices out there that will actually photograph your route that you're driving or measure the route that you're driving, and they'll sell this data to people like Google Maps, right? So a lot of exciting things that are going to come

Speaker 2:

out. Everyone I'm talking to thinks it's going to be pretty much the next big technological revolution, again putting the power in the hands of the people to monetize their data. Data is extremely valuable. I don't think we, as human beings, are ever going to stop creating data that people want. Right now, in the traditional system, we give it away for free for the most part. One of the original benefits of blockchain, when I got you know, was to monetize our data. Right, that was one of the biggest things. That was, you know, privacy was one, obviously, for the people that wanted to stay doxed, but for the people that wanted, you know, to monetize their data, that was also, you know, one of the big things. That was a big onboarding thing for me. So seeing it now, you know, evolving to physical products and things that we can actually use, is extremely bullish and, of course, course, right now, while we're early, it's also extremely lucrative. So, yeah, do your own research, obviously. But yeah, d-pin, I think, is a term that we're going to be talking about a lot, looking for ways, obviously, to incorporate and integrate, you know, digital identity into D-PIN and so, connected with quite a few people. And yeah, you want to look towards the future. I think that will definitely be one that is a big standout way for people to create opportunity in the

Speaker 2:

space. All right, and then next let's talk about AI, agents and automations. So, again, as I said at the beginning, one of the biggest reasons I was even excited to come out here to this year's EVE Denver. I mean, I'm always excited to come to EVE Denver. I think a part of me was going to skip it this year, but then when I saw the agenda, you know was very much focused on AI, agents and automation I definitely decided that I wanted to come because, you know, as I said in the last space, one of my goals was to get more hands-on and dive deeper, you know, in order to optimize my own agents, right. And so, in this case, east Denver definitely did

Speaker 2:

disappoint. Almost every other side event here and you know a pretty good concentration of booths in some way or another was connected to AI, to agents, to automations and what you could do with them. There was representation from basically every major ecosystem player, including, you know, like Zero X, aether, eliza, os you know, some very big ones out there and we actually have another side event today, an agentic AI day. So looking forward to connecting more and learning some more. And, of course, you know, everything that I learned and you know, can can build upon love to share with our community. But the TLDR right is definitely, agents are the future. For any of you who you know are afraid of agents or think that agents are, you know, kind of a waste of time, I think you're going to be very surprised. You're going to see a whole lot more of them, not

Speaker 2:

less. One thing that was super clear is that this is not a trend. You know, as I explained in my personal opinion, this is an evolution of technology and mankind personally, you know, and you know it's meant to optimize processes, communications and more. What do I think will be the biggest areas for AI and what seem to be the biggest areas for AI that were, you know, on full display here? I wanted to go through a couple of those so that you know, you can kind of get a bigger picture for how to implement them yourself if you're looking for, you know, ways to build with them. Again, this is another big emerging technology that not only has a huge technical benefit if you're a builder, but also, you know, can have a very lucrative benefit, you know, due to their nature of, you know, the space being tokenized and being able to create wealth for people. But the three biggest areas where I think that we're going to see a big influx of agents and where agents make, you know, a really good impact and, again, you know, do more to optimize than replace. You know,

Speaker 2:

humans. First section would be, you know, obviously, customer service. So, being able to build and utilize agents, you know, to handle customer service, not only in, you know, social media chats. You can also have AI agents that do this on your website through bubble chats. Ai agents that can this on your website through bubble chats. Ai agents that can walk you basically through the entire process of either solving a program or onboarding yourself into a platform. You know, and why is this a better option than a human being? Again, not to replace a human being, but this frees up so much time for a human that has more personal processes that they could be involved in, while these automated processes really can do 10 times the work. You know. Imagine these agents being able to talk to 200, 300 people at one time and provide a different experience for each one of them, depending on their inputs. It should, you know, enhance customer experience rates. It should, you know, increase ROI and conversions because, again, you have something that's adapting to the person that's interacting with it, something that can respond spot on, something that can respond on topic, not emotional, and something that can guide somebody through a process in the easiest way

Speaker 2:

possible. So customer service is a big area where I think we're going to see millions and millions of AI agents begin to pop up, obviously agents for productivity. So, using agents to book meetings for you. You know ChatGPT. When they first launched out, when they first launched and had their assistant program, you know many people were using it to connect to things like Canva, to connect to things like their Google Calendar, to connect to things like their CRMs, because it enhances productivity. A lot of the manual processes that we do when we capture leads or when we're, you know, trying to create or build something, a lot of those processes again can be automated and made more efficient so that it frees up your time to be more productive in areas that require human

Speaker 2:

interaction. So, in the productivity space, I definitely believe that we are going to see a big boom, and I'm saying a big boom if you take the AI agent space. You know as a whole right now, if, like, the space was what it was today, these are currently the three major areas that are growing the fastest, aside from, like, the gaming degen stuff. But what I'm saying is like what I think will be the biggest space. I'm saying like when this becomes majorly adopted and there's millions and millions of people, I don't think that the trend for what will be more popular or most popular for agent use is going to change. Agent use is going to change. So saying that, to say this, is that building in this opportunity in this space and in this area now, in these areas that I'm talking about, will likely set you up in the future to be able to be extremely successful with them. You know, in the event, that you want to market and sell agents to other people who need their

Speaker 2:

own. So productivity, customer service and then, last but not least, the example that I'm showing with my own AI agents Web3 Domain AI and Web3 Digital ID is for marketing and for sales. So, again, will it replace your entire marketing and sales team? Maybe in the future, but for now, at least in my case, in the way I use it, it definitely enhances the markets and again, it gets in the pockets that I can't get into. One of the best things about AI agents, again, is that you're able to direct it, you know, to all the information, for it to learn 100 percent about what you do Right and they are able to instruct it to go, communicate it in ways you know, in the best way possible to other people. And when you see it in action, you know, especially when I see mine in action I'm extremely impressed by, you know, the verbiage and by the way and by who it interacts

Speaker 2:

with. And again, for marketing and sales, I think agents, especially for crypto projects, have the ability to increase, you know, conversions and onboarding, because they could just simply get in the pockets and market in ways that we can't. You know, whether it's a basic Twitter or Telegram agent or one that's actually able to create full social media profiles and full marketing collateral videos, et cetera. Again, very big space where it saves time, energy and enhances a marketing campaign and may even replace a marketing campaign. For people who are smaller teams One or two person teams, you know, is it's a much easier decision, you know, for you to build your own agent with a few hundred, a few thousand dollars, train it, you know, get it perfect, working and automated, than it is to, you know, hire somebody for marketing, you know, for, you know, maybe a hundred thousand dollars or more per year, again, depending on how much you scale and the size of your

Speaker 2:

company. You're going to end up at that crossroads anyway, because there are always going to be things that are required the human touch, human problem solving, et cetera, human creativity, and I don't see bots getting there yet. But for some of the simple tasks and even for some of the more repetitive and you know the tasks that you know when you, when it comes across your desk, you want to pass on it for another hour, procrastinate, these are the perfect things for agents and I think that this will definitely enhance the marketing efforts. Again, from both large companies to especially us, as you know, smaller investors and smaller teams that, again you know, want to optimize our time, optimize our budget and want to put out, you know, some great marketing material and sales support without necessarily hiring, you know, an entire sales staff or another salesperson for, like I said, 100k plus. So, yeah, again, ai agents, definitely bullish on them, looking forward to continuing to build mine out and looking forward to seeing how everybody continues to expand and build theirs out. But again, you know, not financial advice, dyr, all that good

Speaker 2:

stuff. But if you aren't bullish on AI, if you think it's just here to take over the world and you want to fade it, it's probably going to be something that does not age well. Again, you know, the first perception of it is that you know it's here to help you cheat or it takes the human out of things. But again, if you use it in these areas to enhance and optimize your businesses and your processes, I think you'll end up, you know, being a more better version of yourself and a more productive and profitable version of yourself. And, as many have said, you know it's not necessarily AI. You know that's going to make you, that's going to take over businesses or take over the world, or that's going to replace, you know, human beings, but definitely people who are using AI will be more sought after than those who don't. And then that takes me kind of to the last thing that I saw and another big opportunity. You know, with all these things being said, that is going to continue to develop in the space. So, with the introduction of, you know not only people in the blockchain, but now you know, ai agents with D-Pen. Now we're getting things. All these things are getting, you know, contract addresses, they're getting wallet addresses, they're all being identified by blockchain processes, and so there's a big opportunity for naming here. But one of the other things that there's a big opportunity for is considering that we may get to a point where we don't know who's who or what's

Speaker 2:

what. A couple of people that I've run across in one big booth in particular that actually kind of got the wheel spinning was focused on what's called proof of humanity. Proof of humanity is a little different than KYC, right, so there's already products right now where you can both KYC publicly, obviously using like Coinbase or whatever. But there's places where you can get like BAB tokens or kind of proof of humanity tokens by KYCing to a third party. That third party then verifies that you, you know, doxed them. They give you a token that you're able to use in exchange and then that token verifies that you doxed to somebody. Some of these tokens, again, are public doxed tokens where you're showing your people, you know your identity straight out, and then some of them are being used just to validate that you have doxed to somebody

Speaker 2:

else. Proof of humanity is a little different, so it's not a docs, at least in the platform that this one in particular that I'm going to talk about. It wasn't a docs because you didn't have to necessarily give your name or any of that information that you can, and obviously, for the people who want to do better networking, that's something that we're going to do, but this used biometrics. So basically first gets set up, you give her either a palm print or thumb print. It records that, right. I guess the system says to have a palm print or a thumb print, you have to be a human being, and then it just records the fact that someone put a palm or a thumb print and gives you a token based on that that's connected to a wallet, and then you're able to give a person that wallet to show that a human being is associated with this wallet instead of being a bot or any of these other objects that are out

Speaker 2:

there. And I thought that this was an interesting kind of hybrid concept because, again, doxing and identity is a very sensitive subject in our space. Doxing, I think, only really became something that people in large became comfortable with doing just only a couple of years ago. We still have a vast majority of people that want to be anonymous for different reasons. Some of them want to be anonymous because it's just ancient business what I'm doing in crypto. Some want to be anonymous because it just ain't your business what I'm doing in crypto. So I want to be anonymous because they obviously scan, but for whatever that reason is again doxing privacy. Identity has always been, you know, kind of one of those again sensitive

Speaker 2:

subjects. With this, you know, when we start more and more introducing crypto and Web3 into the real world, we start integrating blockchain, we start using this in the ways that you know, a lot of us on Spaces are saying the future looks right, which is validating your identity on chain, putting deeds and things on chain, rwbs, all this good stuff. It's going to become more and more important to prove that you're a real human being and prove your identity. And so you know we're either going to come to the crossroads where you're going to have to suck it up and, you know, either dock straight up or, like I said, great solutions like this, you know, depending on how many people integrate and, you know, actually use it to validate your identity, I think will be, you know, a big welcome addition to the space. That's something that we're going to see a lot of again for proof of humanity. And then, as I said, it's a great use case for naming and personalization With this particular platform. Once you scan your fingerprint or your thumb and it gives you basically that token, that proof of humanity, they actually create the EVM address for you and then it's stored there In this particular platform. Again, now, in order to share to somebody that you have, this proof of identity token or proof of humanity token, you'd have to share that long, complicated crypto address or an app or a tap or anything like that. And again, great use case now for naming and personalization of this we discussed with them Human being has a palm. It needs a name, and so TLDR

Speaker 2:

again. And big conclusion is that, basically, ai technology the continuation of automation is going to be doubled down on as far as development, but as each one of these things continues to get more traction, they create more things Again, deep end is going to create millions, billions and trillions of products that are all going to be tokenized. They're all going to have wallets, they're all going to be connected to a smart contract, which means they're all going to need a name AI agents the millions, billions and some predict trillions of agents that will one day exist that will handle everything again, from customer service, productivity, marketing and sales to any manner of DGN thing, that a bot will be invented to do. Again, a lot of these bots are tokenized, a lot of these bots have their own wallets because they're automated and able to create their own business. And because they have their own wallets and because they're tokenized, they are going to be a name. And then the same thing for anybody who's onboarding through the space, through any mechanism that's receiving a blockchain address, that wants to use us in any capacity that is joining any community. They will all need a

Speaker 2:

name. That is basically the hill that I've been standing on the entire time. I've been out here and again getting a lot of great reception because it makes sense. So, metaphor 2025, I believe, and what I'm bullish on from what I've come from from Eve Denver. Better for 2025, I believe, and what I'm bullish on from what I've come from from Eve Denver D-Pen if you're not already involved in any of those projects, if you're not already familiar with Helium, if you're already not familiar with any of those processes, I would definitely start now. Ai Agents obviously, super bullish on AI Agents. I love continuing exploring that and sharing that as much as possible. Big future Love the way my agents currently are working right now, again for a good example of what I'm talking

Speaker 2:

about. As far as you know the different pockets and ways that you know agents can communicate, market for you, you know that maybe you just won't see as a human being, right, you know? Feel free to look at the two agents that I've built Web3 Digital ID and Web3 Domains AI. Yeah, both of those are very good examples of agents that are out there doing the work. Also, too kind of to my own horn, these agents have been. Both of these agents have been live a little less than three weeks, I want to say, if I'm not mistaken, and they've already gotten me 400 Twitter follows as well. So them continuously tagging me every time they make a comment has been very good as well. So the way you optimize them and the way you make them work can be, again, extremely productive, especially for smaller teams, one-man teams, if you've got an individual TLD or a bunch of TLDs or anything like

Speaker 2:

that. Again, the last workshop went through some of the strategies that you can use them for and, yeah, I think this year's conference is a great showcase of, again, the meta of what's to come. The future is definitely bright, it's automated and, as I said, every single thing is going to need a name. So best thing to do, moving forward, is find your place and start communicating your value. Yeah, definitely looking forward to what this year has to bring. Looking forward to some of the upcoming announcements, also from

Speaker 2:

Freename. We are not doing the Web3 Domains Whale Talk today, obviously because I'm out here in Denver, but next week's Whale Talk will be a very exciting one, again, talking about the latest release and some of the ones we have coming up. It's a very bullish space, a very bullish time. If you're still out here, you can catch me here on this last day. I'd love to meet up with anybody in the main event or any of the side events, but, yeah, if you're tuning in and catching this kind of watching from the sideline, I hope that this alpha I dropped will help make you as productive as it's making me. And definitely thank you guys all for attending this Tech Talk. Again, tech Talk will be on every major podcast there in a couple of days Apple, spotify, iheartradio, et cetera. You can reach us at techtalkhost. And again, thank you guys for attending this Friday's tech talk. And, yeah, look forward to talking to you guys next week. Enjoy your day and focus on your mission, your condition. Happy to meet you.
